Guangzhou, Nov 16 (IANS) India's Bimoljit Singh settled for the bronze in the men's sanshou 60kg wushu competition while Sandhyarani Devi assured herself of at least a silver medal after she made the final of the women's event at the Asian Games here Tuesday.
Bimoljit lost in the semi-final of the men's event and settled for the bronze medal. Bimoljit lost his semi-final bout 0-2 to Iranian Mohsen Mohammadseifi.
In the women's event, Sandhyarani won 8-1 against Paloy Barckkham of Laos in the semi-final at the Nansha Gymnasium. In Wednesday's final, Sandhyarani will face Iran's Khadijeh Azadpour.
