Jaipur, Nov 19 (PTI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today announced cash rewards for three players from Rajasthan for making the country proud by winning medals in rowing competition at Asian games in Guangzhou, China. Bajrang Takhar, who won a gold medal today, has been awarded Rs 15 lakh cash, Rs 5 lakh for training, one house in the state and direct recruitment to the post of DSP in Rajasthan Police, an official said.
Satish Joshi from Shahpura near Jaipur, who won two silver medals, has been awarded a cash prize of Rs 7.5 lakh. Rs 2.5 lakh cash has been announced for Girraj Singh from Bharatpur who won a silver medal, the official said.
