LONDON (Reuters) - Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a recurrence of a groin injury, the club said on Friday.
"Kenny Dalglish today confirmed Steven Gerrard will miss the rest of the season," read a statement on the club website (www.liverpoolfc.tv).
The midfielder underwent surgery last month but suffered a setback in training last week.
