Ankle injury puts Murray's Wimbledon hopes in doubt

London, June 4 (ANI): British tennis champion Andy Murray fears his Wimbledon hopes may be hit by an ankle problem he picked up in Paris.

According to The Sun, Murray will assess his condition over the next 48 hours after Rafa Nadal dumped him out of the Roland Garros semi-finals in straight sets.

Murray said: "I have to wait and see what happens with Queen's. I'll have to see how I feel in the next couple of days when I get off the painkillers and rid of the anti-inflammatories. I will see my physio and talk about the best thing to do."

He added: "I need to do all the right things, practise the right way and the way that I need to play, to win Wimbledon." (ANI)
