    Eastbourne (England), June 16 (IANS) India's Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan's Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi, dubbed the Indo-Pakistan Express, bowed out the doubles quarter-finals of the 462,675-euro AEGON International tennis here.

    The top seeded Indian-Pakistan pair, who won the Gerry Weber Open at Halle last week, lost to Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov and Andreas Seppi of Italy 5-7, 3-6 here Wednesday.

    With their loss, India's participation in the event is over.

    Somdev Devvarman, who shocked fourth-seeded Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain in the men's singles first round, went down fighting to Frenchman Julien Benneteau 6-7(1), 7-6(6), 3-6 in the second round.

    The Indian partnering Mark Knowles of the Bahamas had lost in the opening round of doubles to Yen-Hsun Lu of Chinese Taipei and Oliver Marach of Austria 3-6, 4-6.

    In the women's doubles, French Open finalists Sania Mirza and Elena Vesnina of Russia crashed out in the opening round 7-5, 4-6, 6-10 to Australians Jarmila Gajdosova and Samantha Stosur. Sania failed to make the singles main draw.
