Hyderabad, June 19 (PTI) The fourth and final leg of the Indian Volley League (IVL) will begin here tomorrow at the Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy stadium.
Six teams are participating in the tournament, the first three legs of which were held in Bangalore, Chennai and Yanam in Pondicherry.
Chennai Spikers are on the top of the points table 26 points overall followed by Hyderabad Chargers with 24 points.
Yanam Tigers and Karnataka Bulls with 22 points each, while Maratha Warriors (21) and Kerala Killers with 20 are lagging behind.
Kerala Killers would take on Karnataka Bulls tomorrow, while Hyderabad Chargers and Maratha Warriors fight it out in another match. The third match will be played between Chennai Spikers and Yanam Tigers.
"It is good that a professional league has begun in volleyball. The boys are doing very well. Indian probables will be selected from these matches for the Asian championship to be held in Iran in September. It is going great," G Sridharan, coach, told reporters.
IVL chairman P Ravikant Reddy hoped that the tournament would attract both spectators and also sponsors for the future events.
