WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — Fiji has named four new caps in its team for the opening match of the Pacific Nations Cup rugby tournament against Tonga at Lautoka on Saturday.
France-based fullback Kini Murimurivalu will make his Fiji test debut along with lock Tevita Cavubati, younger brother of former test prop Bill Cavubati. Prop Penijamini Makutu and utility back Adriu Delai will make their test debuts off the bench.
Fiji has named a veteran front row with props Deacon Manu and Graham Dewes joining hooker Viliame Veikoso.
Backrower Dominiko Waqaniburotu will captain the team while 65-test veteran Nicky Little returns at flyhalf and will likely retain that role through this year's World Cup in New Zealand.
