LONDON (Reuters) - India's leading pace bowler Zaheer Khan may be unable to bowl in the remainder of England's first innings in the first test at Lord's after leaving the field with a hamstring strain on Thursday.
Zaheer took both wickets to fall on the rain-interrupted opening day while conceding only 18 runs from his 13.3 overs.
"He is undergoing treatment which is being administered by the team physio," a statement from the Indian team said on Friday.
"He may be unavailable to bowl in the first innings but is likely to be fit to bowl in the second innings."
