Scots take on rebuilt England in 6 Nations opener

With all the hype surrounding England’s rebuilding program, Scotland’s players have had plenty of notice of what’s heading their way in the Six Nations on Saturday.

England will bring three uncapped players, a new captain and an entirely fresh midfield partnership to Murrayfield but the Scots are paying little attention to what their opponents are up to ahead of the 130th edition of rugby’s oldest international.

Captain Ross Ford says “this week has been mainly about us, we can only control what we do on the pitch.”

The Scots know the tone of their entire tournament could be set by the result of their opening match.
