ICC launches official event website for World T20
The International Cricket Council today launched the official event website for the World T20 Championships to be staged here between September 18 and October 7.
Containing all the latest information on the tournament, the site, accessible from ICCWorldTwenty20.com – ICC World Twenty20 2012 Official Website, will be an essential resource for supporters wishing to follow the event, the ICC said in a statement.
The site will also have video highlights from all matches in the tournament, including the men's and women's event, as well as behind the scenes interviews with all the teams and leading players.
The match centre will allow fans to follow live ball-by-ball coverage of all warm-up and event matches from the men's and women's tournaments.
"The ICC World T20 is the most eagerly awaited event in the cricket calendar in 2012 and we are excited to be able to provide fans with a world-class website to follow the tournament," said Campbell Jamieson, the ICC's General Manager - - Commercial.
