-make a new folder.
-name the folder "0160" while pressing the "Alt" key down
-then press enter!



there u have a folder without a name! just an icon!

The reason behind this:

pressing & holding the 'alt' key makes the keyboard accept an input as its ASCII value.

Now the folder u`ve created is named after the ASCII value of "0160" which is 'a white space' hence u cant see anything.

try deleting the same folder from cmd. Unless u specify 'rd alt+0160' ur folder will not be deleted.

The actual ASCII value for a white space is 255 try creating a folder with 'alt+255'

This was once a major flaw in the older versions of windows ( win 9x,ME ) which virus coders exploited to store sensitive information & micr corp. supposedly spent a whooping $ 35mil just to debug this problem in winXP, Now its become just another 'WIN Joke'
