Reuest : My sound is gone..

I am not sure what happened but my computer is not at all giving out any sound or music...I have a speaker and a mike, both are working fine..and I dont even see a sound section in the toolbar....can someone please help..I am totally confused...

Hi Don, Go to your Device manager and select your audio controller. Right click the properties and do a troubleshoot. Or go to control panel, select sounds and audio devices and do the troubleshoot. Reboot your system and check it again. If it is not working, please call me back.

x-manji i have tried it.. it says that my volume control programme has not been installed please install using add/remove programmes.. how can i get it... any idea???

X-MANJI I troubleshooted that, and as the method shown I re-installed the faulty programme...even now there is some problem! So I will call u someday..
