I personally have found it impossible to install the iPhoto 9.1 update. I consistently get the following from the Software Update method:"An error occurred during installation.
"OK"
"The update "iPhoto Update" can't be installed.
"The digital signature on the update is missing or invalid. The update may have been tampered with since being signed by Apple. The update will be downloaded and checked again the next time that Software Update runs.
"OK"
I consistently get the following error when attempting to DIY download and install the update:
"!
"The installation failed.
"An unknown installation error occurred.
"The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."
This is with a newly repaired boot drive, permissions repaired, cache files removed, preference files all checked, old VM removed, and I'm connected to the Internet, using 10.6.4. IOW: This appears to be an Apple problem. I'm diving into their discussion area to see what floats.
