So now you can get a Kinect for theXbox 360. Or a Move package for thePlayStation 3. Or maybe you already have aWii. The point is, this holiday season, gaming is going to be all about moving. There's a three-front motion-tracking war going on and it may be a while before there's a clear winner.
Nintendo's Wii has been around for a few years now, so movement-based gaming isn't as novel as it used to be. Sony's Move is fun, but along with Microsoft's Kinect, it may have to play catch-up.
That said, we've heard that Microsoft's effort is predicted to outsell the Move in holiday sales, despite Sony's snarky swipes. And the Wii, always a popular gift, might yet prove to take sales away from both.
But that's all speculation. We can listen to analysts till our brains are mush, but instead we'd like to listen to you. What are your game system wishes for this holiday season? Which motion-tracking system (or systems) would you like Santa to bring you?
