Nov. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp. aims to raise operating profit from its overseas businesses to more than $500 million in the year ending March 2013, Chief Financial Officer Hiroo Unoura said in an interview.
The company is targeting an operating profit margin of more than 5 percent on the $10 billion in overseas sales targeted for fiscal 2012, Unoura said at the company’s Tokyo headquarters today. NTT’s Overseas businesses will “just about break even” on an operating basis in the current year, he said.
