Report: Microsoft bringing Windows to ARM chips

Microsoft is said to be unveiling a version of Windows that runs on ARM processors at CES next month.

Bloomberg, which broke the news this afternoon, said this version of Windows will be offered separately from the x86 version of Windows, which utilizes the different microprocessing architecture and differs from Microsoft's Windows CE for embedded systems, which can run on x86, ARM, Hitachi SuperH, and MIPS.
