In a bid to mark is presence in the cloud services space, Hexaware has announced a new partnership with Netapp India. Hexaware would provide its cloud service named Rainmaker through Netapp.
Rainmaker’s IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS), Infrastructure–as –a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Storage-as-a-Service (SaaS) will be provided via NetApp’s multi- tenant storage solutions and VMware’s vCloud Director. This is also the first implementation of VMware vCloud Director for cloud services on NetApp storage in India.
“There is a major market shift underway with increasing focus on cost control in business. Customers are demanding flexibility and efficiency in their IT infrastructure, and are in turn moving to a shared infrastructure model in order to sustain the change,” said Rajesh Janey, President - India and SAARC, NetApp.
