Open Letter To News Corp
ear Rupert, Chase, and Jonathan,
It is hard to dispute the facts when there are correspondences and audio recordings of all communications that transpired. That they support any and all representations as contained herein as it relates to the conduct and activities by, and/or on behalf of News Corp, MySpace, and/or its representatives.
If you personally, and on behalf of News Corp and MySpace, provide written authorization and permission to release any and all correspondences and recorded telephone conversations related directly to this matter. We would provide said material to several media outlets so that an unbiased determination can be made as to how News Corp does business. This shall allow the media and public to determine how badly Carey and Miller, through their activities and conduct, destroyed MySpace and drove it from a success to a complete failure.
News Corp and MySpace failed and/or refused to discuss a proposal that would result in the stated revenues. They have effectively destroyed MySpace and drove its value down more than any other reason that ultimately resulted in the decline and failures of MySpace.
If Carey, Miller, or Murdoch are willing to let the public in on the truth by providing written authorization so that all referenced material and documentation may be released publicly and to the media in support of these representations. Then this material shall be released to all media organizations requesting them within 72 hours.
The following is released without violating any confidentiality agreements. Last year Carey and Miller were provided the opportunity to change the direction of MySpace with a proposal that would increase the net profits of MySpace to 1.5 Billion Dollars by the third year.
Based on current and prior experiences with News Corp, Carey, and/or Miller you should not trust or do business with them unless a written agreement or contract has been executed between the parties. They had requested that we disclose detailed information as it related to the plan without any written agreement or contract in place.
When we refused to do so under those terms there were no further discussions, and the individual on the phone made a less than professional comment and hung up. You should be aware that New Corp has a documented history of being given ideas and concepts, and then incorporated those same ideas or concepts. They later claim that they already had been developing your idea or concept, and effectively cut out the party or parties from benefiting from those ideas or concepts.
This knowledge not only comes from similar occurrences experienced by other individuals. But this was also a learned experience from previous dealings with News Corp, and/or their affiliates, and representatives. You should not trust News Corp and demand that a written agreement or contract be in place prior to any discussions or disclosures. You should also maintain detailed documentation of all transactions of business dealings with News Corp, their representatives, and/or affiliates.
We would venture to say that any entity News Corp claims to be offering more than 10 million dollars for MySpace would be another misrepresentation when considering the current state and condition of MySpace. It is believed that the damage they have inflected upon MySpace has brought its value down to nothing.
Anyone willing to pay the reported 50 to 250 million dollars to purchase MySpace, as News Corp alleges, would probably mean one of two things. Either they lied to MySpace about what they were willing to pay. Or the more likely scenario would be that News Corp, Murdock, Carey, and Miller are making gross misrepresentations in an effort to drive the sale price of MySpace up
