RIYADH: Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf met with his compatriots in Riyadh and heard their problems and proposals.
An Egyptian investor in the Kingdom presented a major wheat project worth $600 million, which can be implemented with the support of Egyptian workers in the Gulf countries.
The Egyptian expatriate workers urged the new government to consider their children same like those in Egypt in educational services.
"We also request you to increase the quota for Egyptian expatriate students in Egyptian universities," community leaders told the premier.
They also presented other issues related to customs, insurance and participation in elections.
The premier spoke about the internal situation in Egypt and emphasized the need to work for strengthening the country's stability to attract foreign investment.
