    HCDA shares experiences with Madinah delegation

    RIYADH: The High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh (HCDA) briefed recently a delegation from the Madinah municipality on its experience in the fields of transportation, environment and information technology management.

    “During a meeting with Ibrahim Muhammed Al-Sultan, an engineer and HCDA member, the delegation was also briefed about the commission’s experience in planning, execution and management of projects,” a spokesman told Arab News on Monday.

    The delegation, led by engineer Yahya Saif Saied, was also briefed on HCDA’s methods in comprehensive development of all sectors in the city. Saied is the deputy secretary for services in Madinah region. “Furthermore, the delegation was briefed on the city’s transportation plan and HCDA’s role in its implementation,” the spokesman added.

    Moreover, it was also briefed on HCDA’s urban information system, environment information system experimental project in Riyadh, unified digital map and its internal administrative system.

    “During the visit, the delegation also inspected the program for the development of Diriyah and was briefed on its rehabilitation as well as on HCDA’s methods of preserving heritage in the area,” the spokesman said.

    He added that the delegation was happy and satisfied regarding the briefings in general and the information gathered from visiting Diriyah in particular.
