More bodies recovered from Turkish quake
ANKARA, Turkey: Turkey’s state-run television says rescue workers have pulled out the bodies of a blind locksmith and his two daughters from the rubble of a collapsed building, bringing the quake death toll to 603.
The TRT television says the bodies were recovered in the town of Ercis on Friday, more than 12 days after a magnitude-7.2 quake collapsed dozens of buildings in eastern Turkey. NTV television identified them as Ismail Akcil and his daughters Dilber, 8, and Sumeyye, 10.
Authorities say the quake has killed 603 people, including the three members of the Akcil family.
