Jeddah police bust robbery gang
Three thieves have been organizing themselves as a gang specialized in robbing homes and rest areas in the eastern part of Jeddah.
The gang would focus on stealing expensive electronic machines that are easy to carry. The gang would also stop expatriates and take their mobile phones before they flee the scene.
The gang was busted while trying to rob a rest area in a surprise raid.
The spokesman of Jeddah police said the three gang members are being questioned and investigations would reveal whether they were involved in other crimes in the city.
