Obama meets Saudi FM at White House
Washington: US President Barack Obama has met Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal in the Oval Office for talks, amid the growing political tensions in the Persian Gulf. “The President and Prince Saud affirmed the strong partnership between the United States and Saudi Arabia and discussed recent developments on key regional issues of mutual interest,” the White House said in a statement on Tuesday. Obama asked Prince Saud to convey his best wishes to King Abdullah bin Abd Al-Aziz, the White House said.
