This tutorial covers methods of modeling including a simple floor plan, adding trim using Lightwave 8.5s Multishift, and items such as a hanging lamp and vase. Tools covered include Multishift, SPmove, Thickener, Extender,Info, Transform Plus and many others.
David Mitchell then moves on to show us how to texture, light and render an interior scene. Starting with basic texturing of the scene elements and moving on to lighting for Radiosity. Next, learn how to set up fake radiosity bounce lights, use gradients to enhance shadows, shadow lights, and control light intensity, falloff and effect. Finally, render out to HDR for maximum exposure control.
