Honestly speaking @ My opinion is that ,the life in UK is Like A Blouse without a BUCKLE. But the truth is "Andiyoodadukkukkumbozhe Puliyariyoo"

                        Life in the UK
Very different from that in India:

You are generally on your own: your relatives are far away, so it is difficult if your child falls ill or something, although friends try and help out each other here.
Your are living in a completely different culture. It takes time to get used to a different culture. It depends on how adaptable you are! Your kids will be growing up in an English culture. Remember they would be spending about 6 hours in school; probably more time than they would spend with you. But the advantage is they can see good aspects of both cultures and take the best aspects of both cultures. A lot of 2nd generation Indians do very well here. Generally Indain children do well in school.
The weather; it is cold about 7-9 months of the year! In winter days are very short. It is still dark when you leave home for work and it is already dark when you finish work; which could b quite depressing!
The facilities are much better in a lot of areas, but not very good in other areas. The roads are very good. Driving is easy from town to town. Public transport on the otherhand is very expensive. It is cheaper to travel by car if 2 people are travelling! But then again, insurance for cars could be expensive. If you did own a car in India, it may be worthwhile getting a 'no claims certificate' from your insurance company that you havent claimed for past 5 years if you havent.
Health care s free. But you have to go through your general practitioner for any medical problem, which means you may have to wait a long time if you wanted to see a specialist. But waiting times are getting better now.
Food: Curry is the national dish of Britan. You will find 'Indian' restaurants everywhere, majority of them run by Bangladeshis. Indian vegetables you would be able to get in most major cities and towns in Indian corner shops. A lot of supermarkets also stock a limited amount of indian vegetables and spices.
Clothes: You will need warm clothes here. It is best to buy them here, as you get good warm clothes here. Indian garments such as sarees; you will have to go to specialist Indian shops which you can find in Leicester, Birmimgham, London etc.
I hope this is useful. Please feel free to ask if you need any more info.

Well i recently moved from Germany to UK.
For me it is a mix of indian and europe..
Many indians here..sometimes u got the impression more than english ppl.
Streets are in a bad condition and ppl live in small houses..
Quite cold here and always windy...so buy good boots and wam jacket!
It is really a must..and it is raining whole times..sometimes it reminds me of monsoon in india..ur feet will get wet anyway..
Well about food.. it depends where u will live..but u can find many restaurants, well in my area mostly north indian..but in london there are several south indian restaurants too..
                              Think i covered most problems..
But the people here are very nice..guess it is because it is really a mulitcultured enviroment..u will find every race here and somehow all adjusted to live together.
I think u will feel quite ok here..don~t be afraid ..u will survive somehow
