For a person to become true friend there are 3 important things.
1. TRUST
2. UNDERSTANDING
3. LOVE
1. The 1st requirement is trust. If you don't trust the other then what is the use of calling him a friend. Friend means believing blindly.
2. The 2nd requirement is understanding. For understanding to exist trust is very important. Trust is the base of understanding. Two friends should be able to understand each other.
3. The most important thing is LOVE. Love is there only where trust and understanding is present. Trust and understanding will come to us almost knowingly. But when understanding and trust comes LOVE comes automatically. Even if we want to hate that person it will be impossible.
I am saying this from my experiance.
