A step forward to protect Sundarbans' from Global warming

Kolkata: Union Minister of State for Environment and Forests Jairam Ramesh Sunday said that India and Bangadesh should necessarily work together to protect the unique eco-system of Sunderbans -- the world's largest mangrove swamp. Terming Sunderbans mangroves as the 'Natural Bio-shield', Ramesh stated: 'There is no reason why India and Bangladesh can not do a joint tiger census'.
