    Polling begins in Sri Lanka

    Colombo: Polling begins in Sri Lanka to elect a new parliament for the country in which President Mahinda Rajapaksa's ruling United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) is set to sweep the hustings.President Rajapaksa casted his vote at a polling station in Hambantota in western Sri Lanka.Polling polling begun at 7 am and will continue till 4 pm. Counting will begin this evening and first results areexpected by tomorrow morning.The elections which come on the heels of Rajapaksa's runaway....
