Return land to adivasis within July 31: SC

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has directed the state government to restore alienated land to the adivasis within July 31. The Court also ruled that the land given to the adivasis should be of cultivable nature and stern action will be taken if the state fails to implement it.The Supreme Court had directed the state government in 2009 to seize alienated land and give it to the adivasis. If more than 2 acres of land have been alienated then it has to be seized and given back or if land is less....
