Congress Area vice president hacked to death in Kollam
Anchal::Yeroor Congress area Vice President Sreemachandravilsam Ramabhadran, 44, was hacked to death on Sunday. Ramabhdran who was admitted at Thiruvananthapuram Venjaramoodu private medical college after the attack, was died on Sunday morning. The CPM activists are alleged to have connection with this crime. The attack occurred around 9 pm on Saturady night in front of Ramabhadran's wife and children.
A group of attackers stormed into his house with weapons and attacked him. Though he ran to the backside of the house, they folowed him and attacked again. Though he was rushed to the hospital immedietly his life could not be saved. The attackers were escaped in a jeep even before the locals reached the spot. 30 injuries were found in his body. This incident is said to have relation with the attack of CPM activist Gireesh Kumar by the Congress activists on April 5.
