    Father, son drown to death in Malappuram






    Manjeri:A father who tried to rescue his kids from drowning in the Chaliyar river also died of drowning. The deceased were identified as Palaniswamy, 38 and Vipin, 5, both residents of Coimbatore. Palaniswamy's daughter Dharani was saved by the local residents .Though both of them were rushed to the nearby hospital their life could not be saved. Rani from Edavannappra is Palaniswamy's wife. The family came to Edavannappara to celebrate Vishu.
