Prasin Susan murder case: Life imprisonment for accused





Mysore: In the sensational Prasin Susan murder case , the Mysore fast track court slapped life imprisonment and fine of Rs 10,000 to the accused Arun Bhaskar, advocate and a resident of Kalpetta here on Tuesday. Judge Komalatha pronounced the verdict. The girl Prasin Susan was murdered on November 21 in 2006 while she was working as an accountant in with Fasal Agencies, Kalpetta in Wayanad. Arun borrowed Rs 14 lakh from the agency through Prasin and when she asked him to return the same he murdered her in Gundelpet. The prosecution sought for death sentence as the case was rare one. But the court said that considering the age of the accused , life imprisonment is being given. Arun Bhaskar is the son of Bhaskaran Nair and Sarojini Devi from Kalpetta. Prasin is the daughter of Kenichira Puthenveettil Kurian and Susan.
