Bus runs over seven, four killed
Lucknow:At least four people were killed and three injured critically when a bus ran over them in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district Monday, police said.
The accident took place in the morning when the state-owned transport corporation bus spun out of control in Balpur area, some 150 km from here, and ran over the people who were standing on the roadside. 'The injured are being treated at a government hospital. Their condition is stated to be serious,' police inspector Sarvadev Singh told reporters in Gonda.
'The driver and the conductor of the bus managed to escape from the spot after the accident. Efforts are on to nab them,' he added.
