Rain occurred at many places
Thiruvananthapuram: Rain occurred at many places in Kerala and at isolated places in Lakshadweep. Heavy rainfall reports in cm are Nedumangad 9 and Harippad 7. According to meteorology sources here, the other chief amounts of rainfall in cm are Mamkompu 6, Kayamkulam 5, Mavelikkara and Koilandy 3 and Alappuzha, Chengannur, Kanjirappally and Peerumedu 2 each. Maximum temperature was appreciably above normal in Kozhikode district. A number of stations recorded the highest maximum temperature of 34 degree celsius. Forecast valid until the morning of May 30, rain or thunder showers will occur at many places in Kerala and Lakshadweep.Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in Kerala during next 48 hours.
