No direction to make Chenithala KPCC president again
Thrissur: P C Chacko, MP, said that there has been no direction to make Ramesh Chennithala as the KPCC president again. Since organisational elections have been declared, Chennitrhala, as president of KPCC, should not bring out any statement at this juncture. Chennithala should not resort to any factional activities too as KPCC president. Whether there would be a contest to elect KPCC president can only be decided after nominating members to the KPCC, Chacko said. If two or more candidates are in the fray then elections will be held. He also said that in the appointment of KPCC members the opinion of veteran Congress leader K Karunakaran should be sought. P C Chacko was speaking to mediapersons here at Thrissur on Tuesday.
