CMS college attack highly deplorable: HC
Kochi: The violence unleashed by SFI activists at the Kottayam CMS College is highly condemnable, observed the Kerala High Court while considering a petition filed by the college principal seeking police protection. The HC was shocked to hear such kind of incidents and also asked the advocate general to be present in person for the case.
Meanwhile, home minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that IG B Sandhya would conduct a probe into allegations raised against police during violence. He said it would probe if the police had booked a case as per the complaint of the college authorities or under what sections charges have been filed.
