    Kozhikode twin blast: Two accused declared fugitives





    Kozhikode: The special NIA court on Wednesday declared the two accused in Kozhikode twin blast case as 'fugitives'. The second accused Mohammed Azar and the eighth accused P.P Yusuf were declared as fugitives. The NIA court also directed to confiscate their assets too. Earlier the National Investigation Agency approached court to declare them as fugitives as all the efforts to book them went futile. It is learnt that both of them are in Saudi Arabia. With the declaration, the NIA can now submit the charge sheet on the case.
    Meanwhile the remand custody of Thadiyantevida Naseer and Shafas were extended to 14 more days. On Wednesday Naseer and Shafaz were produced in NIA court wearing masks. The accused complained to the court of being forced to wear the mask. They also demanded a speedy trail, claiming to be innocent. The court secures to look into the complaint .
