Opposition walks out over allegations against Abdullakutty





Thiruvananthapuram: The opposition on Tuesday staged a walk out to protest against the statement by Kodiyeri Balakrishnan over allegations raised by M Chandran MLA against Abdullakutty. Abdullakuty said that Chandran must apologize to him. Chandran had alleged that Abdullakuty was spotted with a woman at Ponmudi and natives blocked them and handed them over to the police. Abdullakuty said that his friends were with him in the car and industrialist Prasad Panicker along with his wife and son were travelling in the car behind them But M Chandran stuck to his stand.

Kodiyeri said that there was no female in Abdullakutty's car and he had sought security from the police station on hartal day. In the asssembly, Kodiyeri made defamatory statements against the family of Prasad Panicker, which created an uproar in the assembly. Opposition leader Oomen Chandy alleged that the people who are not in good spirit with CPM are not even able to travel on roads.
