Choliform bacteria found increasing in wells in State
Thiruvananthapuram: Water Resources Minister K Premachandran said that a study had found choliform bacteria in 80 percent of wells in Kerala. He told the assembly that the findings resulted from a two year study. From 2008 onwards the study had analysed 998 wells in different districts The second phase of the study has begun. As many as 396 wells from different districts will be taken into account for the study. The minister was replying to a question by A P Anilkumar in the Assembly on Thursday.
