Lecturer attack case: Accused bought 50 SIM with forged documents

Aluva: Police sources say that the accused in the hand chopping case of Prof T J Joseph of Newmans college bought 50 mobile SIm cards with forged documents for planning the crime. Kothamangalam police took seven persons into custody for having distributed the SIM. Police also registered cases against the phone agencies who gave cards without proper verification. During the raids in the house of Popular Front activists in Aluva region, police seized forged documents, including SSLC books and voters' ID card. Huge cache of forged documents were seized form the house of Ayoob in Thaikattukara. The police got all documents tracing the phone call of an accused involved in the crime along with the help of cyber cell.
