New Delhi: Home minster Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that a decision on banning Popular Froint will be taken after receiving investigation reports including that of NIA. He said he don't think that the problems will be solved through the banning of an organization. CPM has not arrived at any decision yet on the issue, he added.
Investigation will be conducted to find out whether the SIMI activists are working behind PF. The probe on attack on lecturer has been progressing in the right direction. Kodiyeri affirmed that the Congress and the Muslim League must express their stand on banning the Popular Front organization. They are demanding for an all party meet to divert the attention of public from the real issue, he said .
He added that he welcomes the Kerala High Court's ruling that the state police had no authority to issue notice to offenders in petty offence cases .Kodiyeri said the state government had already given instructions to police regarding this.
