    Kodiyeri rules out rumours of rift in police

    Thiruvananthapuram: The meet of higher police officers which was held here on Saturday has decided to constitute a special anti-terrorist wing of state's own. Two rural police districts will be formulated in Kollam and Thrissur and with the number of total police districts will rose to 19. Home minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan who attended the meet ruled out rumours of rift in the police department and said such news are being spread to weaken the probe. The crime branch and the intelligence wing will work in unison in the state, he added.

    He said he cannot divulge more details on the probe of Nilambur train sabotage attempt case. As many as 1500 organization accept foreign fund an the power to regulate all these rest with centre. Some organizations are trying to attract youth form Muslim community to terrorism. The government is not able to b an all of them who has its wings on different states. He aid that the state government will give its opinion on banning Popular front after getting report of probe by NIA. The Popular Front have engaged in activities to incite religious hatred. He said majority of Muslims in Kerala are against them.
