Kochi: The Southern Railway will run seven Special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers for the 'Onam' Festival season next month.
1. Chennai Central- Ernakulam Jn:The Chennai Central-Ernakulam Special would leave Chennai at 2330 hrs on August 19 and arrive at Ernakulam Junction at 1110 hrs the next day. From Ernakulam it would start at 1515 hrs on August 22 and arrive at Chennai Central at 0330 hrs the next day, a Southern Railway press release said.
2. Nagercoil-Mangalore Central The Nagercoil-Mangalore Central Special will leave Nagercoil at 1330 hrs on August 22 and 29 and arrive at Mangalore Central at 0525 hrs the next day. The Mangalore Central-Nagercoil Special will leave at angalore
Central at 1335 hrs on August 23 and arrive at Nagercoil at 0445-hrs, the next day.
3. Nagercoil-Mangalore Junction. The Nagercoil-Mangalore Junction Special would leave Nagercoil at 2015-hrs on Aug 23 and arrive at Mangalore at 1145 hrs the next day. The Mangalore Junction-Nagercoil Special will leave Mangalore at 1335 hrs on Aug 24 and arrive at Nagercoil at 0445 hrs the next day, the release said.
4. Chennai Cental - Kollam. The Chennai Central - Kollam Special would leave Chennai at 2230-hrs on Aug 18, 24 and 26 and arrive at Kollam at 1415 hrs the next day. Kollam-Chennai Central Special will leave Kollam at 1620 hrs on Aug 19, 25 and 27 and arrive at Chennai at 0830 hrs the next day.
5. Chennai Central - Kollam Superfast Special . The release said Chennai Central-Kollam Superfast Special would leave Chennai Central at 2035-hrs on Aug 20 and arrive at Kolam at 1145 hrs the next day. The Kollam-Chennai Central Special will leave Kollam at 1350 hrs on Aug 21 and arrive at Chennai at 0550 hrs the next day.
6. Chennai Central - Kollam Special and Kollam -Chennai. Chennai Central - Kollam Special will leave Chennai at 2230
hrs on Aug 22 and arrive at Kollam at 1415 hrs the next day. Kollam Chennai Central Superfast Special will leave Kollam at 1710 hrs on Aug 23 and arrive at Chennai at 0830 hrs the next day.
7. Chennai Central - Kollam Superfast Special and Kollam - The Chennai Central - Kollam Superfast Special would leave Chennai at 1515 hrs on Aug 28 and arrive at Kollam at 0530 hrs the next day. Kollam -Chennai Central Special will leave Kollam at 1130 hrs on Aug 29 and arrive at Chennai at 0330 hrs the next day, it said.
