    South West monsoon active over Kerala

    Thiruvananthapuram : SouthWest monsoon has been active over Kerala. Rain occurred at most places in Lakshadweep, according to Local MeT office here. Hosdurg reported heavy rainfall of nine cm.

    Isolated heavy rainfall was likely in Kerala during the next 48 hours.

    Strong onshore winds from north westerly direction with speed occasionally reaching 45 to 55 KMPH was likely along and off Kerala coast, and over Lakshadweep area during the next 24 hours.
