Kochi: National investigation Agency informed special CBI court that they were bale to found out relation of accused in Kashmir recruitment case , with terrorist outfit Lashakr-e-Taiba. The court heard the claim of both section in the bail application submitted by 6 accused and verdict would be pronounced later. The case which was investigated by Edakkad police in Kannur later shifted to NIA. Faisal from Kannur, Abdul Hameed from Mattancherry Kochi field application for bail.
Prosecutor K N Raveendran for NIA pleaded that the accused should never be given bail as per the rule of NIA as the charge sheet was already filed. Training was given to accused to indulge in terrorist activities in Kashmir. As the training was given in Kashmir, the case know in the name of Kashmir recruitment. It was Thadiyantevida Naseer, the prime accused din Bangalore blast case and Kalamassery bus burning case, who worked on behalf o Let in Kerala. Prosecutor also said that NIA has apprehension that if they were given bail, they must flee to Kashmir.
Meanwhile the accused said that false case is being charged against them and they must be given bail as they are innocent. They also claimed that they do not have any relation with those who were killed in Kashmir encounter.
