Thiruvananthapuram : Kerala Chief Minister V S Achthuanandan today said the government would take necessary action against illegal lotteries following the Centre informing the State Government could take its own action.
Share This Article: Addressing reporters here after a Cabinet Meeting, he said the Centre had informed that the State could take steps against illegal lotteries.
He also stated the Centre should amend the law to find out a permanent solution to illegal lotteries.
When asked about the Munnar Ordinance, Mr Achuthanandan said legal opinion had been sought in this regard.
He also said the Cabinet had decided to form a Kerala Consumer Price Index Revision Committee for conducting a Family Budget Survey.
