8 people killed in various accidents on Onam day

Thrissur: As many as 8 people were killed in various accidents on Onam day. Raghunath, 53, executive engineer in Irrigation department died after hit by a private bus. Rajeesh, 26, a bike racing champion killed in bike accident . A woman was killed when two autos collided with each other at Thrissur. The deceased is Sarojini, wife of N V Sukumaran from Puthoorkara. Karuvathu Shaju, 42 was died when the bikes collided at Peringottukara. In Chovannur, Anilkumar , 32 son of Kumaran was killed when the bike hit an auto. In an accident in Mala two persons were killed . The deceased were Preman, 49 son of Gopalan from Vallivatom and Sreenivasan, 46, son of Thumpoor Subramaniyan.
Thankam, 68 wife of Achuthan from Chengaloor died after it by a bus.
