Thiruvananthapuram : The Kerala Election Commission has decided to conduct the polls to the local bodies in the state in a single phase.
Though the exact date for conducting the polls has not been decided, they would be held in the last week of October, sources told UNI.
The elections were being held in the last week of October as the new governing bodies assumed office on November 1.
