Ayodhya verdict: RSS -VHP held marathon talks.

New Delhi: RSS BP leader had marathon talks on Thursday on the wake of special sitting of Allahabad high court bench to solve theAyodhya issue amicably. On Thursday morning RSS chief Mohan Bhagavath held talks with VHP president Ashok Singal and general secretary Praveen Thogadia. Anticipating a backlash from certain groups likely to be affected by the Allahabad High Court judgment on the Ram-Janam Bhumi-Babri Masjid title suit expected on Sept.24, the Government on Thursday appealed to all sections of people to maintain equanimity and tranquility in the aftermath of the judgment.

In a resolution passed by the Union Cabinet today in its meeting on the High Court judgment on the Ram-Janam Bhumi-Baabri Masjid title suit, it was stated that the High Court judgment would be the outcome of a long judicial process and it should be treated with the utmost respect by all.

The parties in the case Sunni Waqf Central Board and Akhil Bharat Hindumahasabha had asked the court not to postpone the pronouncement of verdict.
Leading Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Deoband has appealed to people to respect the verdict of the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court on the Ayodhya title suit.

'We have full confidence in the judicial system of the country. We appeal to people to respect the verdict of the Court and maintain peace and communal harmony in the country,' Seminary's deputy vice-chancellor Maulana Abdul Khalique Madrasi said.

Supporting the view of Deoband, Uttar Pradesh Imams' Organisation President Mufti Zulfikar Ali said, 'We should respect the verdict and if any party is not satisfied with the judgment it could appeal to the Supreme Court.'
