Madani's guards given permission to appear before Karnataka police

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala police had given official permission to four constables, who served as guards to PDP chairman Abdul Naser Madani, to give their statement after presenting before the Karnataka police. The permission was given as per the information of the Karnataka police which sought permission to question the constables Shajahan, Basheer, Sajeevan and Nabeel. In the charge sheet, Karnataka police alleged that Madani held a meeting with Thadiyantevida Naseer at Kodagu. So according to them, questioning the constables who were Madani's security guards at the time is important. The Karnataka police again issued a notice to the four.

Earlier, Shahjahan, who received the first notice last June applied for illegal medical leave which created a row. Later, special branch of state police questioned him. Again Karnataka had sent a notice and on the basis of that the four constables were given official permission. They will present before the Karnataka police on Monday.
